Long Island City Loft

The L.I.C. Loft is a 4,350 sq. ft. live/workspace on the top floor of an industrial building. The space was completely renovated with various spaces defined by planes and floating millwork. Full-height walls enclose only the bedroom and bathroom. The project repurposes industrial and utilitarian materials like black plumbing pipe and plywood as bookshelves. All millwork was designed and built by the architects.
